Vieser 51206 Casting Lifting Ring
Product Information
The product is a Vieser clamping ring used for waterproofing and drainage in bathrooms. The clamping ring has a diameter range of 15-48 mm and is designed to be used with a waterproofing membrane to prevent water leakage. It is recommended to use MS Polymer adhesive for fixing the clamping ring.
Product Usage Instructions
- Clean the area around the clamping ring.
- Apply a waterproofing membrane over the slukmansjetten (drainage pipe).
- Apply MS Polymer adhesive on the clamping ring as shown in the figure (30-mm beads of adhesive with a spacing of 30 mm).
- Place the clamping ring over the drainage pipe.
- Place the distance ring on top of the clamping ring.
- Allow the adhesive to cure according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Note:
The clamping ring has a diameter range of 15-48 mm. Ensure that the diameter of the drainage pipe falls within this range. Also, make sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions for curing time of the adhesive.

Installation Instructions
- Make sure that the floor drain seal is in place.
- Apply waterproofing membrane around the floor drain.
- Place the waterproofing flange on top of the floor drain.
- Fit the clamping ring all the way to the bottom.
- Apply waterproofing membrane over the waterproofing flange.
- Clean the clamping ring.
Apply adhesive (MS POLYMER) on the clamping ring as shown in the figure (30-mm beads of adhesive with a spacing of 30 mm).
- Measure and cut the distance ring to the correct height.
- Place the distance ring on top of the clamping ring. Allow the adhesive to cure according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Pour the floor and allow the floor to cure.
- Remove the pouring protector.
- Install the grating (sold separately).
