Install EA520 into the Vehicle Cradle

Insert EA520 from top to bottom until it reach the bottom

Please make sure the following contents are in the EA520 vehicle cradle gift box.
If something is missing or damaged, please contact your Unitech representative.

USB Type-C Cable (power input: 5V/2A)
*Note: The package does not include USB car charger
(cigarette charger). Please apply the car charger with
power output 5V/2A to match with EA520 vehicle cradle.

Optional Accessories

Attached Cover (for EA520 without boot case)
HD AMPs Bracket with 26mm Ball Joint Part (with AMPs screws)
Dashboard Mount Only
HD AMPs Mount

How to use the Vehicle Cradle

Insert EA520 with boot case into the vehicle cradle directly.
* It is suggested to charge EA520 without boot case after putting the attached cover into the vehicle cradle to prevent noise while shaking. The attached cover is optional for securing EA520 without the boot case more firmly.

Insert the Attached Cover into the Cradle

Put the attached cover into the cradle and make sure the arrows of the attached cover are pointing upward and match with the cradle.

Remap the Volume Key

The power key is not accessible while EA520 is in the vehicle cradle, so it’s suggest to “remapping” the volume key to wake up the screen. Please follow the directions below to remap the volume key to wake up screen.

Enter Stage Go from the Apps.
Scan the barcode on the right .

Note: This barcode is designated to be scanned by Stage Go. Scanning through USS is not effective.
The screen will show as below.
The number of success is “1”, meaning you have successfully finish key remap setting.

Charging through Vehicle Cradle

Connect one end of the USB Type-C cable to the USB port on EA520 vehicle cradle, and the other end to USB car charger (cigarette charger).

Go back to Original Setting

Click on Key Remap in the Apps.
Click on VOLUME_UP.
Select Action, then select Default key: VOLUME_UP.

CAUTION!

To ensure the unit working properly, please keep all connectors away from the contaminants staying inside of them such as dust, grease, mud, and water.
The negligence may cause the unit with no communication, short circuited, overheated and so on.
If the connector is damaged, please ensure the connector is being fully repaired before using the unit to avoid causing short circuited.
