Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues during setup, follow these steps:
- Check the fit of the ear adapters. Ensure there is only a minimal gap visible between the rubber rim and the earphone rim.
The two claws at the top of the ear adapter rim must snap into the two grooves on the earbud. To achieve this, place the earbud with the button side down on a non-scratching surface, and then carefully slide the rubber part down towards the earbud with your fingers. - If the fit of the ear adapters is incorrect, adjust them as described in step 1.
- Place both earbuds in the charging case and ensure that the corresponding LED lights up.
- Close the lid of the charging case.
- Open the charging case again and wait for 10 seconds.
- After completing these steps, the system is ready for use.

FAQs
Problem: If you do not hear sound from the TV when you first install the system
Solution:

- Place both earbuds in the charging case and ensure that the corresponding LED lights up.
- Close the lid of the charging case.
- Open the charging case again and wait for 15 seconds.

Problem: Bluetooth connection with phone does not work
Solution:
- Check the fit of the ear adapters as described in the setup instructions.
- Place both earbuds in the charging case and ensure that the corresponding LED lights up.
- Press the pairing button in the charging case (chain symbol) for 2 seconds until a blue LED is flashing.
- Wait until all 3 LEDs on the charging case are flashing blue.
This can take up to 10 seconds. - TV Clear should appear in the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone and can be selected.
Problem: The product is not running stable or the above steps did not solve the problem
Solution:
- Remove both earbuds from the charging case.
- Press and hold the button located under the S icon in the middle of the surface on each earbud for 15 seconds.
- Place the earbuds back in the charging case and close the lid.
- Open the lid again and wait for 10 seconds.
Problem: The product is not loud enough / the volume is too low
Solution:
There are mobile phones where you have to control the volume separately via the earbuds. The TV Clear earbuds use a physical push button to adjust volume and voice clarity programs. It is not enough to just touch the surface. The button is located on the top side under the S logo. When you press it, you should hear a confirmation tone and feel a click.
Sennheiser TV Clear first use
The following steps will help you to easily install and use the TV Clear system for the first time.
1. Download TV Clear App
Sennheiser TV Clear
2. Follow official product documentation
On the Sennheiser product page under “Downloads” you can find all important documents (quick start guide, user manual, etc.) as well as How-To videos at Sennheiser TV Clear FAQ page.
3. Check Troubleshooting page if needed
Do you have any of the following situations? · First connection to TV transmitter does not work · Bluetooth pairing to the phone does not start · The product does not charge properly
The reason is almost always an ear adapter that is not placed correctly. There should only be a minimal gap visible between the rubber rim and the earphone rim. The two claws at the top of the ear adapter rim (1) must snap into the two grooves on the earbud (2). This is best achieved by placing the earbud with the button side down on a non-scratching surface, and then carefully sliding the rubber part down towards the earbud with your fingers.
So if you have one of the situations described above during setup, then: 1. check the correct fit of the two ear adapters as described above 2. place both earbuds in the charging case again. The corresponding LED must light up 3. close the lid of the charging case 4. open the charging case again and wait 10 seconds 5. after that the system is ready for use
