Product Usage Instructions
To install and use the Air Handler Model A TEM4A0B31M31SB:
- Ensure that the unit is approved for installation clearances to combustible material as stated on the unit rating nameplate.
- Refer to the Split System Outdoor Unit Product Data Guides for performance data and approved combinations of Air Handlers and Heaters.
- Install the air handler according to the outline drawing provided in the user manual.
- Connect the refrigerant line using a 3/8-inch coupling or connection size for the liquid line and a 3/4-inch coupling or connection size for the gas line.
- Connect the ducts to the indoor fan, which is a centrifugal type with a diameter width of 11 x 8 inches and one direct drive at five speeds. Refer to the fan performance table for more information.
- Install the heater racks and connect them to the appropriate heater model number as listed in the user manual.
- Turn on the air handler and adjust the airflow speed according to your needs using the minimum heat speed tap. Refer to the heater pressure drop table for more information.
