Safety Information
- Make sure the power is OFF at the circuit breaker for the Roller Shutter Timer you are replacing.
- The Roller Shutter Timer must be installed and used in accordance with your local electrical code. If you are unfamiliar with these codes, or are uncomfortable performing the installation, please call a qualified electrician.
- Do not install the Roller Shutter Timer with wet hands or when standing on wet or damp surfaces.

Installation Guide
- Before we get started.
(1) Neutral wire is required.
(2) Tools you might need: Standard and Philips screwdrivers, pliers, a wire stripper and a voltage detector.
(3) Make sure the faceplate direction is correct.
- Set up the device. (1) Make sure your smart device is covered by strong Wi-Fi signal.
(2) Download the Meross app.
(3) Launch the Meross app and log in to your account, or if you are a new user, tap Sign up to create a new account.
(4) Tap the “+” icon to select the type of smart device you want to add, then you can just follow the setup wizard to finish configuration.
NOTE:
- If this is not the first time you’ve added this smart device, you’ll have to reset it before going any further.

Wiring Diagram
Existing Dumb roller shutter motor wires.
Meross Smart roller shutter motor wires.
Connect Live wire into L terminal.
Connect Up wire into Up(Open) terminal.
Connect Down wire Down(Close) terminal.
Connect Neutral wire into N terminal.
*Note: Wire color as per IEC, your house may use different wire color, but the functions shall the same.
LED and Button Rules
How to Use
- General Settings
Device name: Change device name.
LED: Turn the LED light on or off.
User manual: Check user manual. - Link Meross to Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa
Set up the device in the Meross app and link it to the voice assistants.
Link to Amazon Alexa
Go to Account-> Amazon Alexa and allow Meross to link with Alexa.
Link to Google Assistant
Go to Account-> Google Assistant and follow the step-by-step instructions to complete the linking process.
The example commands are as follows:
-“Alexa, turn off blind.”
-“Alexa, set blind to 50%.”
The example commands are as follows:
-“Hey Google, set blind off.”
-“Hey Google, set blind to 50%.” - Calibration
Time for rolling up/down
Manually set the rolling up/down time for your exsiting shades/blind/curtain.
Auto detect
Activation of the Auto Detect function enables the motor to roll up and down to check the time needed for opening and closing your shades/blind/curtain once. You can manually change it if it is different from your actual time.
NOTE: Auto Detect mode may take 1-2 minutes, please don’t power off your motor.

1. What should I do when I can’t open or close the roller shutter timer manually?
Please check the Status LED. If the LEDs are off: – Make sure that you restore power to the Roller Shutter Timer at the circuit breaker. – Make sure the Roller Shutter Timer is wired correctly. Please consult with a qualified electrician. 2. What should I do when my Meross app is unable to control the added Roller Shutter Timer?
Please check the following: – Check the main Wi-Fi’s Internet connection. – Make sure that main Wi-Fi’s password hasn’t been changed. – Factory reset Roller Shutter Timer and try to add it again. 3. How do! pair my Meross devices with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant?
