Literature E7EU High Airflow Blower Kit for Cooling Airflow

Product Information

The High Airflow Blower Kit is designed to increase the airflow of the factory installed E7 blower assembly. This kit enhances the cooling airflow of the unit.

Important Safety Information

Before servicing the equipment, it is crucial to read all
instructions provided in the manual. Pay attention to safety warnings and special notes highlighted in the manual. Safety markings are used throughout the manual to indicate the seriousness of potential hazards, which should not be ignored. Failure to follow safety warnings and improper servicing could result in personal injury, death, or property damage.

Dip Switch Settings and Airflow Data

The table below shows the dip switch settings and corresponding airflow data:

Dip Switch Setting External Static Pressure (in W.C.) Airflow (CFM)
1/4 0.1 1278
2/5 0.2 1359
3/7 0.3 1318
4/8 0.4 – 0.7 Varying values
0.8 0.8 1287
0.9 0.9 1250
1.0 1.0 1213

Notes

  1. Airflow values were measured with a 23kW heater kit and clean factory air filter installed, without a cooling coil cabinet attached.
  2. If using a 15kW or 17kW electric heat, add 50 CFM to the airflow values. If using a 10kW or 12kW electric heat, add 100 CFM to the airflow values.
  3. The pressure drop of a clean factory air filter is 0.08 inch W.C.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Disconnect all power to the unit and remove the door. Remove the left access panel and disconnect the motor power and signal wires from the control board.
  2. Remove the 4 screws securing the blower housing and slide the assembly out of the unit.
  3. Install the new assembly in the same location, ensuring that the housing flanges slide underneath the blower deck tabs.
  4. Route the motor power and signal wires to the board and connect them according to the existing wiring diagram.
  5. Adjust the HEAT and COOL dip switch settings for the desired airflow.
  6. Reinstall the access panel and door, and restore power to the unit.

Important: Before starting the installation process, please read all instructions carefully and follow the safety warnings provided in the manual to ensure proper installation and avoid any potential hazards.

Required: Replace Electrical Data Labels

As part of the installation process, apply the electrical data labels provided in this High Airflow Blower Kit on top of the E7 electric furnace’s original rating labels. This step is necessary to ensure accurate electrical data information for the unit.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
