Improving tips life
- Do not use abrasive surface to clean the tip
- Use original JBC sponges; other sponges may contain substances that reduce tip life
- Only use distilled water
- Work always at the lowest possible temperature
- To prevent the tip from oxidizing, add fresh solder before putting the iron back in its stand
- Always use the least aggressive fux possible
