Product Usage Instructions

Mac OS:

1. This product supports SST (Single-Stream Transport) and MST (Multi-Stream Transport). Note: MacOS does not support MST.
2. HDMI resolution will be 1080P@60Hz when dual or triple display with VGA. Note: For Windows laptops, only DP1.4 (AMD Graphics Card) can support triple display at the same time.
3. In mirror mode, if only 2 HDMI displays are connected (no VGA), the resolution of monitors will always be consistent with the laptop.
4. In extend mode, if only 2 HDMI monitors are connected (no VGA), one resolution can be 4K@30Hz and the other can be 1920X1080P@60Hz.

A. Why is there no video output?

1. Please make sure the USB-C port of your devices (Laptop/Tablet) support Video Output.
2. Please check if the cable is well connected.
3. Please use the standard HDMI cable.
4. Windows computers with Intel graphics card only support two external monitors at most.

B. My docking station is not charging my laptop?

1. Please check the specifications of your Laptop and identify which port has PD charging functionality if multiple USB-C ports are available.
2. Verify if your host system supports PD over USB-C.
3. Please note that some old models of computers have USB-C port but do not support charging, only can be powered by their original AC/DC power adapter.

C. Why is there no audio output from HDMI?

1. Please make sure your monitor supports Audio output function.
2. Please set the external monitor as the default Audio output device.

D. What should I do if the display screen drops after connecting a large current HDD/SSD?
Please connect your laptop charger/adapter to the USB-C PD charging port of the product.

E. Can I connect my Macbook SuperDrive to the dock?
No, some devices such as the Macbook SuperDrive look for Macbook-specific signalling and will not work when connected through any USB hub.

F. Why does the output not reach 4K 60Hz?

1. Please make sure your monitor supports 4K 60Hz.
2. Please make sure the video source is 4K 60Hz.
3. Please make sure to use the 2.0 or higher version HDMI cable.
4. Please make sure your computer specification supports DP1.4 signal output.

   NOTE: The resolution of monitors will be always consistent with the laptop if only mirror 2 HDMI displays (no VGA).
2. Extended Desktop(NOT supported by Mac OS)
   Right-click desktop >Graphics Settings >Display.
   NOTE: In extend mode, if only 2 HDMI monitors are connected (no GVA), one resolution can be 4K@30Hz and the other can be 1920X1080P@60Hz.
