Insertion

Intended use
This hearing protector is intended to protect the wearer from hazardous noise levels when fitted in accordance with this user instruction. Any other use is not intended and therefore not allowed.
Serviceability
The earplugs are reusable. Before each use; check if the hearing protectors are undamaged, clean and dry before you use them. Remove any ear wax with a damp cloth.
Insertion
- Hold the hearing protector by its track between the thumb and index finger.
- Hold the top of your auricle with your other hand and pull it up and outward.
- Insert the hearing protector into the auditory canal with the track part facing in the opposite direction to your face until you notice it provides a proper seal
- Release your auricle.
- Give the hearing protector one last push.
It may be easier to insert the hearing protectors when you moisten the flanges slightly.
Maintenance
Regularly clean the ear-tip flanges of your Hears universal hearing protectors with a damp cloth.
Storage
After use store the hearing protectors in the case provided.
Do not store above 55 degrees celcius.
Warning
- The earplugs should be fitted, adjusted and maintained in accordance with these instructions. lf these are not followed, we cannot guarantee the protection performance.
- The reported attenuation will be obtained only if the protector is in good condition and worn as directed.
- Sudden or fast removal of the hearing protectors out of the ear canal may damage the ear drum.
- These Hears hearing protectors may be adversely affected by certain chemical substances. Further information should be sought from the supplier.
- The wearer should ensure that the earplugs are worn at all times in noisy surroundings.
- lf the user instructions are not followed, the protection afforded by the earplugs will be severely impaired
NOTE: Do not remove the hearing protectors in noisy conditions.
The protection of your hearing is seriously reduced, even if you remove the hearing protectors briefly.
Selection: User should select the properly sized eartip.
