5. WARNING – To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, Do not expose wiring to edges of sheef metal or other sharp objects.

7.  WARNING – Risk of fire or electric shock. Install this kit only in the luminaires that has the construction features and dimensions shown in the photographs and /or drawings and where the input rating of the retrofit kit does not exceed the input rating of the luminaire.
8. Do not make or alter any open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components during kit installation.
9. The retrofit kit is accepted as a component of a luminaire where the suitability of the combination shall be determined by authorities having jurisdiction. Product must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the applicable and appropriate electrical dodes. The installation guide dose not supersede local or national regulations for electrical installations.

HOW TO INSTALL

1. Turn off circuit breaker that provides power to the light switch for the recessed lights.
2. Thread the Socket Adapter into the socket.
3. The toggle switch to the specified color temperature.
4. Plug the female connector of the retrofit trim onto the male connector of the housing.
5. Push the connected downlight vertically upwards into the can.  Tuck all wires into the can and carefully push the retrofit trim into can (Note: to provide enough room in shallow cans carefully position SOCKET ADAPTER and SOCKET adjacent to the side of the LED DRIVER prior to inserting the RETROFIT TRIM into the CAN).
6. Turn on circuit breaker and test light.

SELECTING DOWNLIGHT OR NIGHTLIGHT MODE 

1. Turn on the main downlight: Turn on the light switch to activate the light fixture
   The product can be used in one of two modes: downlight mode, which provides full brightness and allows selection from five color temperatures, or nightlight mode. Nightlight mode provides reduced light output at 2000K color temperature for very soft illumination at night.
2. Convenient control using light switch.
   NOTE: The main downlight will not provide light output when the nightlight trim is lluminated.
   After turning off the light for 7 seconds, the light will be reset to downlight mode when itis turned back on, the purpose is to ensure the consistency of the mode of all downlights. Switch the downlight off and back on again within 3 seconds to activate nightlight mode.
