Introduction

ERICKHILL EMF Meter (ER02) is an electric field (EF), magnetic field (MF), and radio frequency field (RF) 3-in-1 multifunctional meter. The default mode is the EF mode when the instrument turns on, and the reading may be affected by the influence of the environmental electric field. It is equipped with a built-in electromagnetic radiation sensor, which can display the radiation value on LCD screen after processing by the micro-control chip. You can make reasonable processing or take effective prevention measures toward the electromagnetic radiation according to the test result.

Operation Instruction

Turn on/off

Short press the key HOLD to turn on the meter, and long press to turn off the meter.

After power on, auto power off will be on by default and the icon will be displayed. Without any operation in about 15 minutes, the meter will automatically shut down. Long press the MODE key to cancel the function.

Note: Due to the possible electromagnetic field interference in the environment, the meter may have a small value after powering on, but the instrument is not defective.

Backlight and Theme color setting

Long press the key to switch the backlight brightness between constant light and high light (Default: constant light).

Long press the GRAPH key to switch between white and black display.

Measurement mode

Hold the instrument with the front sensing area slowly approaching the electromagnetic radiation source to be tested. The testing value shows up if the actual radiation value is within the specification range.

Default EF measurement after power on, and short press the key MODE to switch the measurement modes, EF/MF/RF.

Note:

  1. Please do not cover the sensors at the top of the meter with your hand or other objects.
  2. Please measure from a distance for high-pressure facilities to make sure of safety!

AVG/MAX / Peak value mode

Short press the AVG MAK key to switch the average/maximum value. The peak value is displayed at the bottom.

AVG: It is the average of 40 samples, and the sampling frequency is about 1000 Hz.

MAX: The maximum value measured after power-on.

Peak: The measured peak value within 3 seconds.

Unit switch

Short press the key to switch the magnetic field unit between uT and mG.

Graphical interface

Short press the GRAPH key to switch the measurement interface/graph interface. The measurement interface displays the measured value and peak value, and the graph interface displays the bar graph of the measured value. and the 30 values measured in the past and updated in real-time.

Data hold

Short press the key to hold the data, and the HOLD icon will be displayed on the screen, press it again to HOLD cancel it.

Zero setting (Only for EF and MF testing)

Long press the ouv key and the “Zero Cal” icon will be displayed on the screen, then short press the key at

Note:

The electric field zeroing operation is limited to the measurement value below 10V/m;

The magnetic field zeroing operation is limited to the measurement value of 0.1 µT or less.

“OL” Overload prompt
When the test value exceeds the maximum range, the instrument will display the “OL” icon. It means that the test value has exceeded the limit and a larger value cannot be obtained. As the figure shows.

Alarm and Notice

Alarm Sound
The sound is turned off by default when power on. Short press the key to turn on/off the sound. When turning on the sound, the icon will be displayed on the screen.

When the measured value reaches the “Slight” level, the meter will be alarmed. The intensity of sound changes according to the measured value.

Charging indicator
When the battery is going to run out, please charge it in time. After connecting the charging cable, the charging interface displays 100%, indicating that the battery is fully charged.

Kind notice
The best measurement range is within 0-60cm from the measured object. It can also be tested beyond this range, but data deviation may occur.
