Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off
   • Manual on/off Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to power on or power off the product.
   • Auto on/off – Connect the product to a PC via a USB cable to power it on or off automatically.
   – The product will power off automatically if no connection or operation is performed in 1 hour.
   Note: The auto-off duration can be modified in EMEETLINK software.
2. Connection
   • USB connection
   Connect the product to a PC via a USB to power it on automatically. Plug-and-play is supported
   
   • Bluetooth connection
   The product can be connected to mobile devices such as PCs or mobile phones through Bluetooth pairing after it’s powered on.
   Note: When the product is powered on, it will reconnect to the last connected device via Bluetooth (if enabled on the device) The product cannot be found if its Bluetooth is closed.
   • USB Dongle connection
   When the dongle is connected to the computer and the product is powered on, it will automatically connect wirelessly to the dongle without manual pairing.
   
3. Battery Display
   • Check battery level
   The status indicators will indicate the battery level if the power button is short pressed when powered on.

   • Low battery
   In power-on state, the 5 lights of the status indicators will flash red for 5 seconds and then go out.

5. Daisy Chain Cable
   • Daisy Chain can be carried out by connecting the ports of two products using a Daisy Chain cable.
   • The Status indicator turns ice blue when Daisy Chain is connected.
   Note: Please use the EMEET dedicated Daisy Chain cable to connect the devices. EMEET Daisy Chain cables must be purchased separately.
   
   5-10 persons can be connected  with the Daisy Chain connection.
   
   10-18 persons can be connected without the Daisy Chain connection.
6. Connecting Expansion Microphone
   • The expansion microphone can pick up sound after its 3.5mm audio port is connected to the port for connecting such a microphone on the product.
   Note : Please use the EMEET dedicated expansion microphone to connect the devices.
   5-10 persons can be connected before the expansion microphone is connected.
   
   8-14 persons can be connected after the expansion microphone is connected.
7. Lock Port Setting
   • The product can be locked through the LOCK port to prevent theft.
   • Note: The LOCK port is of a Kensington type which requires the user to buy a lock otherwise.
   
8. Download Application
   •  Visit www.emeet.com to download the EMEETLINK PC desktop app for software updates.
   Note: The device can operate normally even if EMEETLINK is not downloaded.
