Product Usage Instructions

Installation

  • Connect the HDMI input source to the INPUT port of the splitter using a high-speed HDMI cable.
  • Connect up to 8 HDMI output devices to the OUTPUT 1-8 ports of the splitter.
  • Plug in the DC 5V power supply to the DC/5V input on the splitter.

LED Indicators

  • Power LED: Indicates power status.
  • Downscaler Mode LED Indicator: This shows when the downscaling mode is active.
  • Auto Mode LED Indicator: Indicates normal autoEDID mode.
  • Copy Mode LED Indicator: Shows copy EDID mode.

Troubleshooting

  • Problem: The power light is off, and the product supply is not working.
  • Cause: No power connected.

Introduction

The DIGITUS® HDMI Splitter splits your HDMI device’s audio and video signals on 8 TVs, monitors or projectors with a resolution of UHD 4K / 60 Hz. Via EDID management, you can choose from 3 modes (Copy, Auto, Downscaler). The integrated Downscaler supports the display of 4K content on Full HD displays. Additionally, 4K as well as Full HD displays can be operated simultaneously. Thanks to its Auto-EDID function, the splitter automatically recognizes the connected displays – no manual settings required.

Troubleshooting

The HDMI

cable may not comply with the HDMI 2.0 specification or is maybe too long

Please use at least a High-Speed HDMI 2.0 cable that does not exceed the maximum length of the input/output cable of 5 m for 4K/60Hz (4:4:4) or 10 m for 4K@30Hz / 1080p
 

 

 

No picture out only sound out or output pink screen

 

 

Maybe the displays can’t support the resolution or the HDCP

Change a lower resolution of the input HDMI signal to check whether this issue or not; if not, maybe the customer should change a non-HDCP input source or HDCP compliant displays or devices
No picture out to a FHD TV when connecting a 4K@60Hz

Maybe the downscaler function can`t support the input signal,
