Thank you for purchasing our power converter. This User’s Guide is prepared to apply to all models. Please
carefully read this Guide before installing/connecting the power converter to your appliance.
Power Converter Basics
Pro Chaser offers power converter converting DC 36V-48V & 48V-72V input voltage down to 12V DC output
voltage for 120W 180W 240W 300W & 360W appliances.
Installation Steps
- Turn off your key switch, engage the part brake and the battery pack into tow mode
- Build your harness2.1 Connect the thin black wire to the main negative of your battery pack2.2 Connect the thick red wire to the main positive of your battery pack2.3 Connect the thick black wire to the negative of your accessory2.4 Connect the yellow wire to the positive of your accessory2.5 Connect the thin red wire to the key switch behind the dash (merge the thin red wire with the thick red wire andconnect both to the positive of your battery pack if you don’t have a key switch)
- Connect your built harness to the power converter
- Now your accessory turns on when you turn on the key switch
- Make sure that the power converter, the harness and the wires are secured to the bottom of your vehicle
For devices with key switch: connect the thin red wire to the key switch
For devices without key switch: merge the two red wires and connnect both to the positive of battery.
Placement Guidelines
To bring the power converter to its best performance, the ideal installation location should be:
- Dry: not exposed to water drips or sprays.
- Cool: the converter performs the best when the environmental temperature is between 32F (0 ℃) and 104F (40℃).
- Well-ventilated: please allow at least 2 inches (5cm) space on the top and sides of the converter to ensureheat dissipation & proper cooling.
