Product Usage Instructions

Quick Start Guide

  1. (Optional) Activate Android AutoTM using a USB cable first between your car and phone by granting all necessary permissions.
  2. Download and install the BetaConnect App by visiting app.beta-connect.com or scanning the QR code on the back of this manual.
  3. Install the BetaConnect device to your car’s USB port.
  4. Follow the app instructions to register your device.
  5. Enjoy wireless Android AutoTM in your car.

Device Status Indication
BetaConnect device has an LED next to its USB port to indicate the operating state of the device:

  • Blinking Green: System initializing or installing the firmware.
  • Blinking Blue: Ready to connect Android AutoTM.
  • Solid Blue: Android AutoTM is running.

Restore to Factory Settings

  1. Locate the Reset button on the bottom of the device.
  2. With the device powered on, wait until the LED with the blinking blue light.
  3. Use the pointed end of a paperclip or similar object to press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds.
  4. Wait for the device to fully reset and power on.
