Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Connecting the Cables
To use the VE7834A True 4K HDMI Active Optical Cable, follow these steps:
- Identify the HDMI input and output interfaces on your devices.
- Connect one end of the VE7834A cable to the HDMI output interface of your video source device (e.g., a Blu-ray player).
- Connect the other end of the cable to the HDMI input interface of your display device (e.g., a TV).
Step 2: Powering the Cable (Optional)
If you need to power the cable, follow these additional steps:
- Connect the Micro USB end of the optional power source cable to the power input port on the VE7834A cable.
- Connect the USB end of the power source cable to a power source (e.g., a USB port on your TV or a USB wall adapter).
Step 3: Adjusting Settings (if necessary)
In most cases, the VE7834A cable will work automatically without any additional settings. However, if you encounter any issues, you can adjust the settings on your video source and display devices.
ATEN VE7834A optical cables utilize AOC technology that enables conversion between input signals and output signals for optimum high-bandwidth data transmissions. The EMI-resistant optical cables are available in 60 m with full support of resolutions. They are fully compliant with 2.2 standards and meet HDMI specifications including 3D, deep color, and data rates up to 18 Gbps. Supporting Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio, these optical cables guarantee lossless audio signal transmissions. This cable series comes with an HDMI Ethernet Channel (HEC) to combine audio, video, and data streams into a cable, enabling Internet connection sharing and IP-based applications over HDMI. Plus, it supports Audio Return Channel (ARC), allowing audio signal to travel to and from the TV and audio system, thereby reducing the number of cables between the television and external Home Theatre System or soundbar

Therefore, the cables are ideal solutions for extending the reach of digital signages in a wide range of settings, such as traffic stations, shopping centers, and hospital facilities.
