THORLABS LPCFJT 3-Way Tee Joint
This leaflet details how to use the LPCFJT 3-Way Tee Joint when installing a Thorlabs Floor Mounted Curtain System. For the continuing safety of the operators of the equipment and for the protection of the equipment itself, the operator should take note of the Warnings, Cautions and Notes throughout this leaflet, and, where applicable, in any associated literature.

Fitting Instructions
Fitting the 3-Way Tee Joint
- Fit the strut on the tee joint (G) into the mounting column (LPCFC7 or LPCFC8, available separately) as shown in Fig. 1.2.
- Using the two M8 x 20 Bolts (B) and washers (C) supplied, securely fix the tee joint to the mounting column as shown below.
Fitting the Curtain Track – Option 1
Caution
Before starting to fit the curtain tracks, ensure that the mounting base has been fitted to the mounting column as detailed in the instructions for the mounting base.
- Insert the half joint plate (F) and joint plate (E) into the extrusion in the curtain track (available separately), one into each side of the tee joint, and slide to the required position as shown in Fig. 1.3.
- Using the six M6 x 16 countersunk bolts (A) provided, attach the tee joint (G) to the curtain track.
- Before hanging the curtains to the track, ensure that the floor mounting base is securely fixed to the floor as detailed in the associated instructions for the mounting base.
Fitting the Curtain Track – Option 2
Caution
Before starting to fit the curtain tracks, ensure that the mounting base has been fitted to the mounting column as detailed in the instructions for the mounting base.
- Insert the two spring pins (D) into the joint as shown below. Push in each pin up to the indent mark, such that about half its length is protruding.
- Insert the half joint plate (F) and joint plate (E) into the extrusion in the curtain track (available separately), one into each side of the tee joint, and slide to the required position as shown in Fig. 1.4.
- Using the six M6 x 16 countersunk bolts (A) provided, attach the tee joint (G) to the curtain track.
- Before hanging the curtains to the track, ensure that the floor mounting base is securely fixed to the floor as detailed in the associated instructions for the mounting base.
