The P1121 Plug-In Timer is an outdoor mechanical plug-in timer with a built-in enclosure. It is a heavy-duty timer designed for various applications such as controlling outdoor lighting, landscape water control, pool pumps, and outdoor water fountains. The timer has 2 ON/2 OFF settings per day and comes with removable trippers for additional ON/OFF events. It has a minimum 30-minute ON/OFF time and is grounded for safety. The timer is housed in an outdoor-rated enclosure with a flip cover, available in clear or black color.
The P1121 Plug-In Timer is compatible with incandescent and tungsten bulbs and has a load rating of 1 HP, 15 FLA, 90 LRA @ 120 VAC. It features a standard or locking-type style NEMA plug and receptacle, allowing it to plug directly into a wall outlet. The timer is CSA certified and meets California Proposition 65 standards.
Product Usage Instructions
- Choose the appropriate location for the P1121 Plug-In Timer, ensuring it is within reach of the device you want to control.
- Plug the timer into a standard wall outlet.
- Open the flip cover of the timer’s enclosure.
- Set the current time by rotating the dial to align it with the correct hour on the outer ring and inserting the tabs for the desired ON and OFF times.
- If you need more than 2 ON/OFF events per day, insert additional trippers into the desired time slots.
- Ensure the trippers are securely inserted and set according to your desired schedule.
- Close the flip cover of the enclosure to protect the timer from outdoor elements.
- Test the timer by manually advancing the dial to the desired ON time and check if the connected device turns on.
- To override the timer and keep the device ON continuously, rotate the dial to the ON position.
- To disable the timer and keep the device OFF continuously, rotate the dial to the OFF position.
