EV WEST Duosida 32A J1772 Charge Port
PURPOSE
To have a standard wiring procedure for the J1772 charge port.
AFFECTED PRODUCTS
DUOSIDA DSS-EV-32S-V3 Other J1772 charge ports similar.

PROCEDURE
- Strip wires
- Fold these 3 wires in half
- Insert wires into pins. They should push in by hand but be very tight. Weep hole faces up.
- Feed about 1 foot of solder until it starts to come out the weep hole, then remove heat!
- Check that solder does not interfere with pin fit
- Add shrink tube as shown
- Exploded view of connector for reference
- Insert pins from the back; then O-ring and pin retainer as shown.
- Install retainer screw
- Feed wires through seal and install
- Feed wires through seal retainer
- Back view, install seal retainer screws
- Install 1/2” shrink tube
- Install rear cover
- Install 3/8” ID vinyl tube
- Measure enough adhesive lined 3/4” shrink tube to exit rear cover. Heat the shrink tube, not the vinyl tube.
- Install rear cover and tighten gland nut
