Use this foot for attaching tape to the edge of fabrics. The guide can be adjusted to set the needle drop position and suit tape width
⚠ Caution
Make sure to press the Lockout key when attaching and detaching the foot. For models without a Lockout key, turn the power switch off when attaching and detaching to foot.
– Please refer to your machine’s instruction manual for presser foot attachment and removal information.
– Tape with a width of up to 20 mm can be used with this foot.
– Both single-fold bias tape and double-fold bias tape can be used
Machine Settings
Stitch : Straight stitch
Stitch length : 2 – 4
Tape width : 5 20 mm
- Turn the nut (1) and adjust the tape guide slider (2) to make enough room for the tape to pass through.
- Insert the tape (3) into the guide (4). Wrap the tape (3) around the fabric (5) and attach the taping guide foot to the machine.
- Turn the nut (1) toward you until the guide matches the width of the tape.
Adjust the guide position with the thumbscrew (6). Sew while guiding the fabric with your left hand and the tape (3) with your right hand.
